I'm in the market for another scooter as a backup/alternative to my PCX125. I saw a used sh150i for really cheap with very little miles but I'm not sure if I should get a bigger bike for my needs. I need to go 55mph easily and would like to drive two-up sometimes.....should I save a bit and get a 350+ scoot in a few months or should I just get the sh150i?

The question is will a larger displacement last longer.... Not a simple answer because some take better care of their scooters. In general, the larger displacement will out last a smaller, due to you can get more milage out of a larger displacement.. A 49cc is about 10,000 miles, a 150cc is about 15,000 to 20,000 miles, a 250cc is about 25,000 to 30,000 miles. It really depends on maintanence too. If you don't do maintenance, well things could ruin a engine faster.

I plan on breaking down and getting a Yamaha Majesty.....Thought about the Piaggio BV 350s but the Majesty has dealer support and a very comfortable seat and seating position

I guess support depends on where you live. Here the Yamaha dealer is also an Aprilia/Piaggio dealer and supports both. The Piaggio 350 should get better mileage than the Majesty. Both are great bikes.
