installed the dr pulley variator. used no spacers in between at first then put 2 in later noticed no difference. but anyway the dr pulley runs at high rpm's like 5-6 rpm till 50mph then goes up a few hundred to 6600 tops at about 60mph. im happy with it but if i notice fuel mileage go down im gonna swap back to the original. oh ya also installed 12g dr pulley sliders. smooth as silk.
just did my second valve adjustment at 2370 miles. .004 intake and .005 exhaust. scooter started to not want to idle when cold.
was thinking with the higher rpms at low and mid range speed should keep the scooter much cooler with the fan turning that much faster!
thanks again fugaziiv at PARTSFORSCOOTERS! their ad is at the top of the forums

noticed i have a quarter inch room for the belt to rise on the variator im going to a 842 belt next and thinking of a aftermarket carb small one as stock because ive read 100 times how a bigger carb is unnescesary. i am looking for the most reliable efficient carb. not as much for performance but for smoother running scoot.

Wow, a new tire already? I was starting to feel bad because I need tires on my Taotao, after about 4,000 miles, because they are out of round. I guess I'm not doing so bad then. But, I'll be glad to get rid of these seemingly square tires. Getting a pair of Kenda's mounted for $120.
