Thanks, well I've seen people do a 6" stretch and thought that it might be a lil too much for daily driving so I went to home depot and bought 3ft of 3/4" squre steel tube and welded up my own 4" custom stretch mount. I actually wound up with about 8-10" extra steel. Here is a pic of the stock mount next to the one I welded up. Attachments:

You also need to relocate the shock mount postioning, this is what I did for now till I figure something else out. Attachments:

dont forget to sand it, clean it and paint with a good anti rust paint, those fres welds will rust incredibly fast, but that looks amazing, props for talent, ingenuity, and overall awsome job man. i want my gy6 out about 4 or 8 inch. seems like longer arms would soften the ride some....mabey?

Looks Very NICE!!! does that shock mount to move around?? Seems like with one bolt it would make a pivot point.. I'm wanting to do something similar to this and thats what I'm trying to figure out is how to make the shock mount... Thanks..

Just the kind of pic I was looking for! I'd love to bump mine out about 4" as well.

Thanks everybody!!! I'm glad y'all like my work. Yes somoneinnc: it actually does have a softer ride, thats what everyone who rides it tells me to. And yeah I do need to paint it. Prelude2fast: that shock mount is actually very stable and yes it will move on a pivot point but only if you pick up the scooter off the ground, I dont plan on doing any jumps lol, so this works fine. Jonglauser: glad you like it! All the materials cost me only $9, plus a welder if you dont already have one. From what I have seen 6" would be the most you could go before you start running into brake cable length issues. Also the longer you go, the more you move the carb up under the gas tank. Looks kinda funny when you open up your seat and there's nothing under it lol!!
