Hi guys,
Im michael. I currently own a 2006 (or maybe a 2007) Longbo Adventure 150. I did a massive amount of research before buying it. Got it home, put it together, and drove around on it for about two years before i took a job overseas. Im back now and in the process of fixing it up to make it rideable again.
over the past week or so ive spent a good number of hours on these forums looking over old and new posts alike and i would like to say thanks for all of the information.
I really had no idea of all the possibilities and modifications of the gy6 engine and its respective parts/pieces. I actually came here to look over some posts and see how big of a job it was going to be to drain and clean everything seeing as how my scoot has been sitting up for the better part of 3 years. I was really entertaining the idea of just scrapping it and buying a new one until i came here.
I also realized by coming here that there are youtube videos of just about everything you can possibly replace or tune on that engine. that helps out tremendously.
Thanks again for all the information you guys provide.
Michael

Welcome from IN, I don't know about a lot of people but I hate throwing something away when it still has plenty of life in it, especially when all that's required is a little TLC to get the life out of it.
I wish you the best of luck in getting your scoot going again, cleaning out the carb, fuel tank, replacing the fuel filter, a new spark plug, replacing the vacuum and fuel lines and maybe a valve adjustment, change the oils engine and trans, checking the CVT belt, and I'm sure you will be out on the road again.
I'm sure it's around 100 dollars in parts tops and a couple of hours of your time.. If you need to know anything just ask we are all here to help.... Good Luck
