Probably need more info as, miles on it, whats been done to it - Check for spark, etc. If battery is holding crank try 2-4 times pumping the throttle then trying to start - I have to do this w/ my 260 ususally when it sits for a couple of days. Max

If the Carb has a PUMP twisting the throttle will prime it by squirting a little gas into the intake. But usually the 50cc carbs have pumps. First thing you want to do is Adjust your Valves, ususally the exhaust valve will tighten up so much that it stays a little open and you then loose compression and will be hard to start. If after adjusting the valves it still is hard to start WHEN its warm out, crank it over a few times and check take the plug out and see if it is WET. If your carb has a ENRICHER it may bae flooding and you then need to LEAN out the Fuel Ratio mixture to cut some of the fuel . Remember WARM temps require LESS gas and COLD temps require MORE gas. most vogs come with pump stroke carbs. but starting with the valves is probably the best

I adjusted the valves that's the first thing I did . It has 3161 miles . I checked for spark and there is no spark . I put a new ignition coil on and still no spark . I think its the cdi box . But I have no clue where it is . If someone wants you can text me 4147930837 . Thank you guys . I'm pretty sure its getting gas .

oh no changing the cdi is hard, grrrr. coil would have been my second choice too, they are known to be weak but the yamaha majesty one is almost a perfect fit for swapping.
i posted a yp250 manual on here, that it shows the pin out readings the cdi should have.

The cdi is right behind the dash. you need to take off the front fairing and you'll see easily. My Vog's starting and stalling problems were all traced to a loose wire (the brown and yellow wire) going into the CDI. Worth a try.

Ok thank you guys I found it last night . Do you know if the rectifier has to ground out to the frame via the bracket that its welded to? The bracket on mine broke off the frame .

Ok, just checking is the killswitch on the run position. Also do you know if the CDI is a DC CDI or an AC CDI. You can also pull the killswitch wire off the CDI to verify nothing else grounding out the CDI. Wile
