I got caught in a hail storm for the first time. Problem is the oem street tires don't hold up in the ice pack, no traction after 12mph.
Now, last winter I was riding my bicycle faster than cars and trucks with hardly any slippage, it's got to be the tires. I do have GT megabite 2.0 X 26" tires on my bicycle and I do know that weight is a factor when riding on ice pack or snow.
I'm well experienced downhill bicycle rider in dirt, mud, or snow.
But, I'm riding a scooter now and would like to know what tires would give me the most traction for those messed up days, even though the tires will be on the at all times.
that being said, the 50cc runs great in the bull crap weather we have here in Reno.
P.S I hope for the best traction as well as wear rating. ??
