Hey, I am new to scoots and just bought a 2002 Bajaj Chetak. Test drove it and it ran fine. Only thing is I accidentally let it fall on it's side, and now it won't start - electrical or kick start! Any ideas on what the possible culprit is? I know someone mentioned changing the oil, inspecting the petcock, or checking wiring, but I am at a loss. Any and all help would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Flo

Does it turn over and generate spark? Check the coil on the spark plug to be sure it hadn't come loose. If its generating spark, check the fuel delivery next. If the Carb is getting fuel, your floats in your Carb might have been jostled and you're stuck in a flooded condition. Break the Carb down, clean and check everything, and try again.
Good luck!

Thanks cooch! I actually found out it was because the battery was low. I bought a brand new battery and a charger and now it seems to work fine. Still getting used to the manual gear changes but it should be fun to ride this summer. Thanks again!
