I have a 2008, 4-stroke, Znen, 49cc scooter, Aurora Legend with a stock carb. If I install a larger carb, Walbro GY150, makeing all the intake and exhaust changes, will this fine piece of chinese machinery hold up or will it burn it out? I never dealt with this kind of engine and trans. Kinda like my engine to be of the unblown type. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

a carb won't help anything if your valves and intake manifold can't handle the extra diameter, you can see all my mods in my signature and after all of that I upgraded to a 125cc 24mm carb, and then I had to down jet to get the right a/f ratio, not sure if it even added power or not as I built it all in one shot. If your looking for more power you should look into dr pulley slider weights, performance variator, iridium spark plug, performance CDI, and a hotter spark plug coil, after that if you want to go further I would get a Big bore kit, I ran up to an 82cc BBK with the stock carb, just had to upjet the main jet.

Thanks Timelancer! I was kinda leaning that way also, but wasn't quite sure. I like the advice on more power. All I need r the wieghts and variator. Got the little stuff all ready. So I'm off...Wow, performance variator? Gotta be electric....
