Hello all. Just a few questions for any owners of the DF150TKA.
First question. Every time I ride, my hands smell like fuel. The grips smell like gasoline. Has anyone else had this problem??
Second, and please pardon my ignorance on this but is there a simple way to adjust the springs to the stiffest setting? I have tried and cant get them to budge.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks Randy

I haven't noticed a gas smell. To adjust the shocks, you have to turn the part with the "ramp" hills machined into them. They don't turn easily, so a large pair of channel locks is what I use. I think the proper tool is a spanner wrench, but I've got no idea where you'd find one. It's pretty easy to turn them to a lighter setting, but going heavier you've got to turn them "uphill".

If you jack the front up off the ground they always turn easier.

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. As far as the grips go, I spoke with someone at scooter depot that had the exact same problem with smelling like fuel every time you ride. He says it's from the service tech that assembles the trikes. His gloves get fuel on them and is then it gets transferred to the grips and then it's almost impossible to get them clean. They are sending me another set of grips.
