Hi all , I'm am going to buy a new 49 , 125 , or 150 scoot. How is Znen in 2012 ? Are there better affordable scooters in the $800 to $1,200 range assembled out the door ? Reliability is HUGE for me. In the short riding season that I live in it would take years and years to justify a $2,000 or more purchase price in gas savings.
Thanks , Kevin

znen is a start all the time well built brand, probably about as good as comes out of china, except the chinese super 8 they build for kymco at kymcos china factory.

Znen is better than most. You'll still have to do your own pdi and upgrade a few "weak spot" areas, but overall, yeah, better than most.

Znen is an excellent bike brand. They are a better quality then most scooters. 2 things though, when you PDI it, make sure you clean the jet with a needle. For some reason the jets come dirty (dusty). Also, make sure not tohaveitsitting too long without running/riding it. The shellac in the gas clogs these bikes up quickly. So ride, ride, ride!!! Parts are easy to get also. scooterparts4less.com. You will be happy with it!!!

We just switched to using Znen for all of our scooters. They have been by far more reliable than the other factories. And we never have a problem getting parts from them so we always have tons of parts for them.

I over analysed all the chinese brands Znen appears to be far ahead of any other brand. i purchased a bms heritage 50 Came with the deni carb, njk spark plug and the yuasa battery....all premium auxilliaries that with a cheaper bike you' ll end up replacing anyway. All stainless hardware Finish and paint on par with the koreans. Wiring appears first rate with good stranded copper and substantial connections Fuel lines stamped and rated Gas tank clean with no foriegn crap in it. Halogen bulbs
The other thing that sold me on the BMS brand / importer is they have an excellent support system and parts availability here in the US I bought mine from Motobuys for $1150 free residential delivery and a 1 year full warranty
Overall the best of the worst. Are they worth the $300 to 400 premium in price ....I think so.

I have a Puma Songbird 50cc made by Znen, and it is my favorite scoot I've ever owned. I've had a Vento Triton,Yamaha Vino, Eton Beamer Matrix, Adly Fox Bullseye(extremely fast) and I love the Puma more than anything else. It looks very cool retro, and rides incredibly well. Also well put together body wise. Great bike !!! ;D

I bought my son a SRR Titan 250cc which is manufactured by Znen. The starter clutch went out at 67 miles. The repair shop said they knew another guy with same scooter that replaced his clutch 3 times. KillerMotorSports warranty is actually just a passthrough of SRR's warranty and only covers the parts, no labor. And they want pictures, serial numbers, etc. I recommend buying with a credit card that has a purchase guarantee.

I have a 2010 Znen 50cc Motorino Amore and really like the quality built into it. At 2100mi on the clock, I cruise at 35-38mph and top out at 40+and 70 to 78 mpg. No magor issues. I live in a hilly area, so the only mods I have done are a #80 main jet, and mix of 7 and 4gr rollers. That gets me up hills faster and no loss of power both from low and top end. I would buy another Znen scooter be it any other brands they build for Attachments:

Not sure if you are looking for a 50cc or a 150cc but right now we still have a few 150cc ones left. We have pearl white, red and black. The 50cc ones that arrive next week are all sold already but we do have more arriving, 50cc and 150cc, in about 4 weeks. We are taking orders for them now and if you place the order now you would sure to get one when they arrive. Give me a call if you have any questions. John Dikov 203-500-0960 Valley Scooters Sorry we do not have dealers in the state of NJ but we do have some in PA that may be able to help you with one since they will be getting part of the shipment that arrives next week.
