I too think the rear fenders are too long and look dorky . My Echarm has an inner fender as well . Since having a trunk and inner fender I do not think I will have spray from the tire when the road is wet . My scooter dealer chopped off his rear fender and used a universal tag mount and it looks great . My Magnum the rear fender is a 2 piece . Well I backed into a car and bent it inwards . I tried to pull it it out by hand but I unscrewed it in order to put it back on like it should be . I liked how it looked being shorter so I left it off . Well while riding on a wet road it sprayed on my back as no trunk on it . So instead of being long and following the curvature of the tire I plan making a custom fender that sticks outwards and is short along with a new tag mount as I had to use tie wraps to hold the tag on as the holes would not line up with a MC tag .
So if you cut your fender do you get spray ? Have a trunk ? Changed it afterwards ?

i could'nt stand the big black rear fender on my scoot so off it went , then i custom fit some alluminum diamond plate on the underside to block road spray .looks awsome and i wanted a better veiw to my ncy chrome air intake which you could'nt see with the fender on i like the more simple look..i'll post some pics when i get a chance..
