Hey, I recently was given a 2008 shanghi shenke 150cc scooter by a best friend who moved away. It's awesome, my first scoot too. I'm from Austin, TX. I plan on doing a few mods to it in the future. I have done quite a bit of work on it already to get it running properly. I easily see 55+mph on flat ground with a totally stock bike. Thing is def. a blast to ride. I can't take the smile off my face when I'm riding it...

How do you hit 68? I mean on flat ground... I've def been there on the speedo but on a flat to downhill/ slopeded section of road. I'll get some pics up soon too. Also what exactally do you mean by don't over rev it? What are the tolerences i suppose?

I really want to know what parts are compatible for my scooter. Mainly looking for after market forks and shocks wheels and brakes. I will probably end up making a new frame too, this cheap metal is scary soft.

greg @ eshop.mainelyscooters.com/shop/carries about anything you need i have a FBI friend, who always laughs when i say my lil china girl is fast as heck well one day i blew by him, i didnt notice him in his FBI car lol he was impressed he got a state cop friend of his, to use a radar gun on me we went out to a abandoned air strip and the state 'gunned' me top speed 68 STOCK over rev, i wouldnt go over 8k on tach i was right below 8 when i got that speed. maybe 7.9-8 frame, i dont know unless you can get exactly the same weight , balance etc. but w/e i would check it for bad welds, rust etc 1st. and OMG if you leave it stock and get it "tuned', proper a/f ratio, valves great etc etc etc and can get real close to my speed VERIFIED my boasting will have some one else to back it up but please dont put your self at risk just for bragging rights--
