Im only 20 now, but I rode the electric bikes and small pit bikes around 4-8 yrs old. Got an actual sized dirt bike at 10. And we got a scoot at 13. Been on them since. Love em. But we are running the cheap chinese gy6 150s. Always modding and tweaking. > Anyways, Welcome and have fun. There are always things going on here, and if you can, help us out a bit.

techie yes i do but age is not everything i may have been scooting for a few years more but u may be a expert at them. i dont judge people by age or anything stupid like that i judge them by what they say and do. for example if u say a bunch of stuff i know to be wrong well i wont ask you much but on the other hand if what you say mainly seems to be right ill be asking for advice

Hi there "SilentWarrior" and my welcome to you from afar... perhaps quite similar front-line to where you were once assigned at in the Deutsch Republic. Look forward to yr insight & tips (whenever you wish to share & spill over with us in this forum group... Unlike you with more experience on two wheelers I am just reliving and from scratch despite having own 6 in the past but never had to buy one on my own. I am about to soon for the 1st time despite it will be my 7th two wheeler after stopping at 16 in1969. Semper Fi....

hello there Paso Doable thanks for the welcome um semper fi thats the marine corp i was ARMY specifically Special Forces our motto is "DE OPPRESSORS LIBRE" which is Latin for "FREE THE OPPRESSED
im sure u dont know the difference most Americans dont know alot about Special Forces they have learned alot about the US NAVY S.E.A.L.'s lately especially SEAL TEAM 6 which are some bad dudes, i personally worked with a few SEALS but mostly MOSSARD , Israelis Special Ops group.
now u wanna talk BAD, they are. But they dont have the same governmental controls that were place on us
yes spent all my time in Europe fantastic place, we went to Holland alot, specifically Amsterdam i was stationed in Bad Tolz . spent alot of time in Croatia, before the fall of the "wall"
insights into scootering, well i have some , but from reading alot of old threads here, there are a lot of smarter folks than I.
again THANK YOU for the welcome

Hahaaaa.... that's cool & yup, always doable without a doubt. LoL Hi Buddy.... Great to hear from one and I do know the difference but not knowing specifically which "covert" unit u're assigned & specialized in.... Semper Fi goes a longer way harmonizing all the various units into one common goal... Faith with each other's role and commitment, Always. We're all BAD in the eyes of those who want to see our Ops fail.... and esp. by those that are our enemies but they don't matter with their punitive mindset... what needs to be set straight is done by us... its "intell" that commands eventually on all the objectives into a successful operation. Shalom to you too. Serbia is one nasty spot to even execute the "Dirty" game... coz its simply messy looking at all the former Yugos ain't saints before, during and till today as thereafter... but its good your part contributed some stability for the region too. Unfortunate to say, for my part, the Dutch Battalion was a complete "fart-out FARCE". I will admit. The trials of the two most charged Serbs (Mladic & Karadic) is still ongoing and I met this other new American friend who is Directing the cameras during the close-door monitoring by cameras, its still ongoing. OK, lets tune in to scooter's non-silent talks instead.... Good to have you on board in this forum too.

Hello silent warrior, I am new here myself. I just wanted to say thank you for your service. THANK YOU!
I considered the military long ago when I was in HS, (late 80's-'91) but after a long discussion with my Viet Nam veteran father, and a bad recruiter experinece, I chose a different path. My old man simply told me he didn't want to see me fight in a dishonorable war, like he felt he did, and the recruiter told me falshoods and changed stories often, lol. I don't take either of these things as a reflection on our military, and the courageous men and women in uniform, they just colored my choice at the time!
I chose to serve in a different way. I became a Fire/Rescue operator, and have spent more time than I care to think in structure fires, opening up wrecked vehicles, rescue rappelling, and sitting in an ambulance jump seat!
Again, thank you for your service. Our Nation would be nothing without you and others like you!

smoak
thanks very much- glad to do what i did all countries still need warriors. dont think those day will ever end. as long as there are 2 men on the planet. 1 will want what the other has.
i agree the military is not for everyone and many members in the military should not be there.
running into a burning building to rescue STRANGERS now that takes guts, courage. dont think i could. well maybe, to quote a great American
"If we take the generally accepted definition of bravery as a quality which knows no fear, I have never seen a brave man. All men are frightened. The more intelligent they are, the more they are frightened. The courageous man is the man who forced himself, in spite of his fear, to carry on. Discipline, pride, self - respect, self-confidence and the love of glory are attributes which will make a man courageous even if he is afraid."
------- George Patton
that especially applies to volunteer firemen
and i have to say the same back
your community should be grateful for people like you
to quote another great American
ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY. ------------Pres. J. Kennedy
