DON
HI & WELCOME
no u posted in the right place.
um well since u havent even bought one yet, theres some threads on the HOME page go read 'em and check 'em out.
they will help u alot
brands are pretty much the same, what i mean is they all pretty much use all the same parts {this is chinese im talking about}
the style is whats mainly different
there r some that are better built and hold up longer
but with regular preventive maint. they are all pretty good.
i'll let the EXPERTS fill u in more.
any more questions, please ask oh and give it a few days to let people see ur thread and respond.
search on line for styles u might like

Welcome to the forum...TeriLee has you covered, Chinese scooters are a broad catagory with many styles..."classic" VESPA-like with leg guards up front and rear wheel fenders out back..."sport" (more motocycle like with larger diameter wheels and swoopy fairing and riding position..."trike" styled after popular trike -3 wheelers. and plenty of styles in-between. Take your time to check them out and check reviews on your selected model. The good news is modern Chinese scooters have EFI (Fuel Injection), ECM (Computer Module) even ABS (Anti-skid Braking System) so there is little chance you will find a "BAD" one nowadays. Happy Hunting!
