Hey guys! New here and need some help with my 50cc peace scooter. It starts right away then runs for a minute or two then dies. About 10 minutes later same thing. Tried taking off the gas cap and replacing the auto choke-nothing. New plug-nothing. Took carb apart and looks good except maybe the large diaphragm looks a little weak maybe. I don't know what this thing does but I need this scooter to get to school. HELP ME PLEASE..

Adjust the valves, .004" intake and .005" exhaust.
How old is the scooter?

Bout 2-3 years old. Bout 3000 miles. Getting gas and has compression. But will try the valves. Someone tried to tell me the piston was scored and he could install a new one for 200.

The valves out of adjustment is a common bug which causes stalls and hard or no starting

So take that big cast aluminum cap off the front of the engine and the valves are under there? Which is the intake and which is the exhaust?
