Does anyone know anything about these? I see tons of them for sale on alibaba, but I can't seem to find any sites that sell them. I'm really tempted to pick one up and see if it's any good - I like the idea of shifting gears. Also, does anyone know what I would have to do if I bought one and had it shipped from china, in order to get it street legal? Example: Bikes on alibaba: www.alibaba.com/trade/search?IndexArea=product_en&SearchText=cub_motorcycle&moq=1-1

After a little more research, the "modern" looking ones are actually clones of the Honda Wave ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Wave), which is also not available in the US. It looks like the best I could hope for would be to import one and try to get it titled as a grey import, which sounds like a crap shoot. Dang, it would be really cool if there was a selection of small displacement motorcycles in the US. Another cool one that's also not available here is the Suzuki Raider 150 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Raider_150).

The Sym Simba is around at dealers; online I don't know. No quality issues - Sym was a subcontractor for Honda for years building Cubs. It has a telescopic front fork and different headlight, but other than that, looks like a pure clone, down to the enclosed chain. 101cc.

Yeah, I know about the symba, I just really wish someone would import one of the versions with modern styling.
