Hi all, I am currently purchasing a 2008 YY250T from SunL. The previous owner said they ran over a big rock that bent the back rim. Where can I find a rim? Also, is there anyone in Iowa that works on scooters? Thanks, Millls

I have a brand-spanking-new rear rim sitting in my garage that I've been wanting to unload. I ordered it online a few months ago and then discovered it wouldn't work my Roketa 54B. Although I was very detailed when I ordered it, they sent me the wrong one anyway--(then wanted me to ship it back at my own expense and also pay them a re-stocking fee.) I'm sorry that the pic is not very good, but please note that this one was designed for a disc-brake. If you think it could work, I'll send you some better pictures over the weekend. I live in Omaha, but travel on my scooter all over Iowa for my job...perhaps I pass through your town? Attachments:

Measure the width of the rim.. I had to order a new rim this year. Costed $100 from Roketa.. They carry nearly all the scooter out there, made in china.

Check the spline count as well.

Yes I still have the Rim which was ordered from Roketapartsonline.com and is called a "Rear Wheel #01 for Chinese 250cc Scooters 3.50X13 (fits all Machine Makes and Models.) I noted in my order that this was for a 2008 Roketa MC-54B which has a 257cc Linhai clone engine and disk brakes. I instructed them to hold the order and contact me if the part would not fit.
They charged me $84.99 plus $12.95 S&H and sent the part even though they should have known it wouldn't fit. When I opened the box and saw that it was the wrong part, they told me that I could return it at my own expense for a full refund less a 15% restocking fee and that they were "sorry I ordered the wrong part". Needless to say that I am not counted among their supposed "146,968+ Satisfied Customers" as stated on their website. Although this may sound rude, I would rather have my eyes plucked out by Zombies than to give them another penny.
Anyway, this rim is for a 24 spline drive shaft which I understand is common for the Honda/CF-Moto engine. I've read that the SUN-L YY250T has this Honda-style engine, but who really knows for sure what goes into these various Chinascoots? This could be the reason the people at Roketapartsonline.com sent me the wrong part in the first place.
I ended up ordering a new rim from Roketapartsdepartment.com for $110.00 plus an unreasonable shipping and handling fee.
If anyone could use this part, I'll send it to you for $72.00 plus the actual shipping cost of your choice or best offer or interesting trade or whatever.
