Yeah...I stopped. I was so cold on my trip up to Salt Lake city I stopped to put my gloves on the muffler to warm them up and I turned the motor off. Big Mistake It took an hour to get someone to stop and realize, This idiot needs help! I got a jump and headed on into Caliente, Nevada. Little podunk town in the middle of nowhere. It was almost 70 degrees when I left vegas. It's 34 here now. I am in a motel and will be in Salt Lake tomorrow. (I hope) Attachments:

I warm up my gloves with a hair dryer or all my clothes in a clothes dryer for ten minutes so they will be toasty . I found out ski gloves do not handle 70 mph cold air so I bough motorcyle gloves that are also waterproof . When its real cold i wear glove liners like a thin 2nd glove you wear inside of gloves they really help .
Cold weather drains the battery thats why car batteries are measured in CCA cold cranking amps so a trickle charger may help keep it charged . You can get a battery pack for jump starting for 20 or so and charged with household outlet . Glad I had one when I went fishing as the car battery was weak and I was all alone in BFE . If its a wet cell check the water and only use distilled not tap and yes there is a dif I have tested this many times . Distilled does not have chlorine or flouride . A dab of vaseline on the posts will prevent corrosion and sodium bicarbonate ( baking soda ) and a wire brush can remove any corrosion deposits

I'm not that familiar with 150 in general but I'm surprised that even with the battery dead he could not kick start it..
