Chris, Congrats you deserve the award. I met you once when you had the shop in Goleta and even thou I wasn't buying because I was from out of town you answered all my questions about the Lance Vintage. And treated me with respect. You have always had good input for Scootdawg. Mac

Nice to know we have a Sym dealer who has a good rep with this bunch of people. Long ways from NW florida. But tis a smaller world every year. Good fortune but most of the time we make our own.

Alliance Powersports (the new SYM distributor) is a pleasure to do business with - makes us look good with awesome service support! ;D I have wanted to get a sym or kymco
but lost interest when i called and they both acted like I don't exist because i am not near a certified mechanic to do work on it.
kymco was so rude in this point i just walked.
how do you buy a sym and have larry or bob anybody qualified to work on them out in the sticks where i live???

Looks like ootscoot might be your answer Terra, assuming you can actually get hold of the bike in the first place! After the PDI the service intervals are 300km and then every 3000km, if you know a handy dealer perhaps you could get any warranty parts online? Otherwise - how far away is your nearest dealer? alliancepowersports.com/find_dealer/P.S. Congrats ootscoot!

Yes, if there is no dealership in your area, parts are available online through Alliance powersports. The bikes must be purchased from the nearest available dealer.

Congratulations. I hope for more success for SYM as they look to have a neat line of scooters even though very few ever make it to our shores. I would love to see an increased model lineup for the US in the future. Looks like a good product.
