Hello ScootDawg community, I'm completely new to the world of scooters, and I am definitely looking to buy one soon. The Honda Ruckus seems really awesome, I love the sporty styling, but the engine can only reach 40 mph. Is there any model from a manufacturer that can reach the mid 60's- 70's and still retain the naked, performance look? I live in rural Louisiana, so a reliable start in both extreme hot and cold are a must.

Wow, man, thanks. This was exactly what I was looking for. And I'll meet all the legal requirements before I hit the road.

Hank is right. Perhaps a carefully modified 150 Big Rukus will get 70 but you are talking a lot more bucks than 5 or 6 C. Cheers
