Hi I thought of sharing to you my video where I drove my scooter today. From the video you can see the view of Manila, Philippines where I live. I can run from 20 to 35 mph only because of heavy traffic , a lot of bystanders and all types of vehicles running. I do apologize that the video wasn't good enough because my camera slides upward. However I am planning to do it again tomorrow or next day to have a better view. I didn't finished my video as well because my camera had a drained battery. After 9 months of owning this scooter, only this time I decided to take a video because I have the feelings that sooner or later I will be losing this little machine because of personal reasons. I do love this scooter because it has a sentimental value. Never in my life I dreamed of driving scooter or 2 wheels but I was influenced by someone I truly love so much. He's always here in my heart and my memories especially while driving my scooter. I hate losing my scooter but I don't know how and what to do to maintain it... I have 125cc scoot and I can run up to 60mph without traffic. With good type of muffler so it has soft sound. God I do love this scooter and hoping I can still keep it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3ho3N4l6_A

Ok personal reasons. Sorry you have to lose it. What else can we do? Last time I was in Manila had to be in the 50's. You did not exist. But I think the last time I was at Clark was in 65. Still before you. But I still will be buzzing around on a scoot till I figure I should not. Wecome Cheers lety2

I wish you could see all the changes here. And yea scooter and motorcycles here are the primary vehicles of ordinary people here. Sad to say hundreds of them are victims of accidents because of not following the traffic rules and also driving while drank.

Thank you for sharing your video. I like to see other parts of the world. I have not traveled much, but I would like to.
I wish you would use some of your passion to ride to learn to maintain your scooter. They are not difficult to keep running. I think a nice boy somewhere would love to help you with your scooter. Perhaps start looking at used scooters and a good deal will come along.

LonelyGirl,
Thank you for the video. It's brings back alot of memories. When I was in the Navy my ship stopped in the Phillipines quite often. It is a beautiful country and a lot of fun. I hope you can find a way to keep your scooter.

Today after lunch, I asked someone to come with me to hold the camera while I was driving so I can get a better video. I am not okey with mounting the camera on my helmet because it might grab by snatchers while I am stop. From this video you can see the road, some areas are good but most part of it were traffic, a lot of bystanders, small children running and playing down the road, rough and narrow roads and stupid drivers. There are just some of the things you can see while driving. And most areas here are on 2 way directions. If you are patient to watch the whole video you can see one child almost hit by tricycle. If you are not focus or concentrated in driving here, you might cause accident or you maybe the victims of accident. I am stubborn woman when it comes to wearing helmet but with this long distance driving I have to wear my protective gear. I have to wear helmet, rubber shoes, jacket and long pants. I can’t forget the accident I had 7 months ago when I was wearing skirt and high heels going to Church. I was not concentrated that time. I fell down from the scooter and my left leg injured and the worse I lost my job. But driving my scooter for 9 months I learned a lot. Those who wants to come and see Philippines, you are most welcome here. Mabuhay Philippines. I want to dedicate this video to the man I love so much. Because of him I learned a lot in life. Hope you enjoyed watching my video. Thanks and God bless. Enjoy scooting! youtu.be/My04FuQVcPUwww.youtube.com/watch?v=MMpVaW35ZA8&feature=related

people just going every which way ,stepping out in front of you , they are crazy Yea. Remember when I was still a new rider, about 7 months ago? I got accident before and my left leg injured. But this time I know now how to control my machine. If you have seen all the kids playing and running, anytime you can hit them. And I almost hit one child last time. Good I was smart and alert.... Do you like my driving?
