I didn't want to clutter the general section with a miscategorized thread so I'm starting a new one here.
My new eShop is NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
I am SLOWLY adding products to the database. This is just more than slapping in a description and a picture. It takes 5-10 minutes PER OPTION to add, so if an item has 3 colors, it takes 3x as long to add.
I'm slowly getting there.
If there is a part or product you are looking for and it's not listed yet, chances are I may sell it so just contact me.
I won't list prices here, but I will say that I try to be fair on prices. I'm selling everything for a strict percentage above cost. I AM flexible on pricing so if you nudge me I may consider changing the price if it's warranted.
Remember, the first 20 orders get 20% OFF! Code MEFIRST.
ScootDawg members ALWAYS get a 10% discount, code SCOOTDAWG and put your ID in the comments section.
You do not have to create an "account" to buy from the shop. That has always annoyed me in the past with other stores. But you can to make it easier to track your purchase and to re-order.
I'm hoping to get some good reviews here, so customer service is a priority to me!

Just who I was looking for. Tried visiting this morning to check out the motorcycle cover. I see you have reduced the price. Will this fit my Roketa with the trunk attachhed? Thanks .

Yes it will. I use the Large for my rental scooters to cover them all this winter. Your Roketa is about the same size, just a few inches larger. If you want it to hit the ground around the edges, the XL should be perfect.

Okay. great. I live on a sailboat so it will be parked at the marina every nigjt. XL would be the choice. Do feel this cover is designed to take the abuse of complete outdoor exposure or more intended for garage/carport applications? Would love to do business with you. Thanks in advance. Loren

I won't mislead you. I honestly don't know. All our scooters are in garages. I know people have left feedback on basically an identical cover on Amazon that they are fine for outdoor use. One person complained that it wasn't truly weatherproof but then his was through some rainstorms.
The inside has a metallic patch that covers the exhaust so you can put it on hot. It has a drawstring and holes to put a lock. It seems pretty sturdy and not just a sheet of nylon.

Greg I'm impressed, really I em. Very very nice and you have been working on it a lot, I knotice a few days ago you only had a couple of items.. Good Work :-) And your 12 v 9 amp battery really caught my eye, as many know I've had a hard time starting my scooter and this may be the ticket.... I'm measuring my battery box as we speak to see what I need to do to make it fit...LOL
P.S. Thanks for listing the battery dimensions that's a big Help..

Thanks Greg. This cover should do the trick and also add an extra layer of protection from prying eyes. If need be, I'll get a second one and double bag her ;D. Also have my eye on the removable trunk for the warmer riding seasons. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to All. Attachments:

Yelloscoot, thanks for the order! I'll say you are getting a really good deal on the cover, with the coupon! We won't be able to ship it out until Monday being Christmas Eve and all. I hope it does the job for you.
Um, is your car yellow too? Nice boat!
Yep, we're SLOWLY adding new products. It's a PITA but necessary, of course.

Thanks Trancebear. It is important to make a site that is easy to navigate. Although I liked all the eyecandy from my first try a few weeks ago, this is much FASTER and SIMPLER.
I wish I could help you out with the Hyosung. I can offer you sliders and belts and tires for it though, I think. I'll be adding some tires to the shop this afternoon.

The top photo/wordy thing seems to get all jumbled up and messed about in Chrome.
I usually test web stuff with Microsoft, Firefox, Safari and Chrome as they are the big user groups, have only tried Chrome on yours though as it's what I tend to use!

Greg...nice layout.....easy to navigate......GREAT prices. Looks good. Hope it works out for you....and as always....I miss Boothbay and loved being stationed in Maine...(except for the few -40 degree wind chilled nights and waking up to 12+ inches of fresh snow on some mornings) Would give my eye teeth to have an opportunity to take a peaceful ride through Acadia National Park just once...... however......we were warned about Black bears in Acadia. The Game Warden issued us the following....---> Attention Outdoorsman! Recent bear attacks have led the Department of Fish and Game to issue a warning to anyone spending time outdoors.Black Bears are not typically aggressive unless hungry, with young,or provoked.Stay alert for signs of the animals in the area.Black Bear feces is easy to identify as it contains small scraps of clothing, small jingly bells(to deter them with noise) and it smells like Pepper Spray... ;D...lol I sold and repaired scoots for 2 years....but gave it up as the locals here would crash one and claim it was a free warranty repair. Best of wished in your new endeavor.....I think your knowledge and people skills will get ya where you need to go.. I have a few scoot riding military buddies at NAS Brunswick and Bath shipbuilding.....I WILL get the word out to them all about your shop. Sincerely Glenn....or as we say in Chippewa..... metosona ay na lonachhaki (he who scurries about quickly like the squirrel)...

Yeah, Bears and Moose are always a problem. Last year a moose actually swam the gut and wandered around our island for a while. Deer are also an issue, though not as much.

I'm sure you're referring to the main website. It's going to be replaced soon as Joomla doesn't seem to work well with my web hosting company. I'll get around to it soon. Thanks for the feedback.

Stock parts are everywhere, it's the performance parts that are hard to find but I hope to fix that. I found a performance clutch from a Vespa GT200 is the same as my scooter and I am getting ready to test a performance variator from a Honda CN250 that should work. The muffler and ECU are next.

Exciting I always love your threads too. Question can you get the sliders for the linhai Aeolus 300? JIMM I'm sure I can. I have all the sizes listed on the DR Pulley Slider page. eshop.mainelyscooters.com/product/cat-150cc/dr-pulley-slidersI'm not sure what size the Linhai takes but I just programmed about 100 different sizes, so I'm sure it's in there! I'm sorry, just checked and the 21x17 aren't currently available. For rollers and sliders I carry DR. Pulley only. I'll check to see when they are available and get some if I can.
I do carry DR Pulley Rollers weights, same sizes as the sliders, just haven't added them to the catalog yet.

I think I am going to go with sliders. I have found that they are hard to come by. Some guy on eBay is charging $45 shipped because they are not easy to obtain.

Greg, site looks great! Looking back to you beginning posts about getting a scoot dealership started to where you are today makes me happy seeing it work out so well for you. As a former business owner( 40 years ) you must have had a 773H of a business plan and then again maby it evolved from seeing the friendly faces on sites like this. At any rate Great going I hope you have a happy and prosperous future.

Actually it evolved from "I'm broke. Think I could charge people to ride my scooter?" ... to going for the whole rental idea with only 2k in the bank, to this.
I do thank everyone for their support on this site. I never would have gone through with the idea if I didn't get positive feedback.

Site Looks great!! May I ask who your server is? Jim/Owner Rapid Repair Thanks! I am using 1 and 1 as a host, Wordpress as a platform and Woocommerce as the shopping cart. Since WP and Woocommerce are free it made it an easier decision than spending $1000 on a pre-made solution. I did have to do LOTS of back end coding to get the credit card authorization to work and pass security authorizations of my merchant service provider. Greg
