www.scrappydogscooters.com/Performance.html I saw these and thought thats a cheap piece of mind over a plastic hose that may errupt but I have never had that to happen as I am easy on the brakes and only use them to stop . To slow down I just let off the throttle and the CVT drag and engine compression slow me down . Has anyone installed these braided steel brake lines ? If so is it as easy as it sounds and any tricks or problems doing the installation .

I have braided stainless brake lines. Not worth it. My issue is that the end eyebolt connector is not bent at enough of an angle to clear my handlebars and cover plastic. Ended up cracking the cover and all the screw mountings because of the pressure against the cover.
They DO provide more stopping power. I just replace the brake line and now the handle is MUCH stiffer on braking, almost too stiff. Will work well if you go 50+ and need to stop quickly.
