So fellow scooterist January will be 2 years I have owned my two chinese scooters . Well it has been a real roller coaster finding parts learning the quirks . The major frustration and the rewards to go with it . One of the problems with getting parts that differs from the auto world is, the vendors selling parts just don't know what they are selling . The thought about getting tech help to trouble shoot problems . Well i have decided to chip at this problem . Over the last 2 months I have been building and inventory and very carefully been inspecting and testing every single item . Just today I tested 20 CDI's and 20 coils . I bought larger diameter variators , Keihin carbs, 11pole stators, 7pin regulators, assorted LED's . I know i'm no rocket scientist , however I have a pretty good idea about scooters (thanks to this fourm) and electrical . I don't think there is a vendor out there that is testing and inspecting every item . For the most part no one is checking parts before shipping . How many of you guys and gals have ordered parts and they were defective when delivered . Please pm text or call for info . s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc483/tvnacman/s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc483/tvnacman/parts/s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc483/tvnacman/s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc483/tvnacman/stator/www.testedscooterparts.com/John

I have found no difference between eBay GY6 parts sellers and Autozone. The people behind the counter are trained to look up parts in their computer. They dont know anything beyond that.
Want some dealers that know a little about scooters? Click on the banner above. Enviromoto and PartsForScooters are a couple great ones but there are others as well.

One of the problems with getting parts that differs from the auto world is, the vendors selling parts just don't know what they are selling . John Totally agree! In fact I quite frequently browse both my wholesalers and others websites often out of boredom. I find so many discrepancies...it's nuts! I have to message them and say...part# xxx-xx is NOT a Minarelli item it is a QMB139 item...etc. They have the wrong pics...or the wrong data many times...in fact TOO many times. Finally I get them to have a "Tech" ...go pull the part..they write me back and say it was wrong and that they fixed it on the website. I find it ridiculous. Also when I order in lots of 10-12..at least 1 item in each lot is dead from the 'git go'..so if a newbie buys that part to fix his/her problem...they STILL have that problem and only get more confused not knowing the 'NEW' part..is junk..
