Howdy Pilgrims,
I'm a new member from Australia, found your forum several times whilst searching for scooter upgrade information...figured I should join.
I ride a 2006 Daelim NS125 DLX III. Have done so for about two years now. I recently put it in for a major service (16K), and as I usually do all servicing myself the $430 bill gave me pause for thought. Then I realised that I save that in about 5 weeks of riding as opposed to driving/owning a car. It then dawned on me that even if my wife and I ever did get a second car again, I'd still keep the scoot as it just makes more sense!
So, now that I'm fully committed I'm starting the upgrade process. All safety mods as the 125 go fast enough for my needs already.
Intended mods include:
Anyways, I'll trawl/ mine the forums first then start posting obtuse questions that will not make sense at 2am.
Cheers,
Yehuwdiy

So, now that I'm fully committed I'm starting the upgrade process. All safety mods as the 125 go fast enough for my needs already.
Intended mods include:
- DC conversion (although the scoot already has an 11 pole, 3 phase, stator...don't know if I do have to do a DC conversion...)
- LED and HID lights
- Zeus fasteners on all panels (I hate plastic tabs as fasteners, on ALL types of vehicles - they go.
- Horn. I'll be picking up a 92 EB Falcon horn from the wreckers next week. I owned one of these cars for 10 years; that horn is loud and annoying
- Brakes. I already have disks front and back, but if I can find upgraded brakes that won't break the bank then I'll still do it...can never stop too fast.
- Screen/ windshield. Crazy as it seems these are quite hard to find here in Aus...have a question sitting with Daelim about the factory screen that was available for the NS125.
Anyways, I'll trawl/ mine the forums first then start posting obtuse questions that will not make sense at 2am.
