Hey, I'm Kennedy from the Dallas, Tx area. I found a good deal on a 2004 Honda Metropolitan. Would that be a good first scooter? If not, do you have a recommendation for a good one, preferably under $1300-ish? Thanks.

Hey Kennedy, I went to TCU. The Honda Metro is a real nice scooter. They sell between $1000-$1600 used in Colorado. They are great scooters, though not the fastest. My buddy has one that I work on sometimes. There are plenty of places in DFW that will work on a Honda. If you dont want to get your hands dirty, that may be a good reason to go with a Honda. Since its Winter, You should see some good deals on craigslist. Post your findings and you will get lots of opinions here. You might also keep your eye out for a good used Yamaha Zuma.

There's 2 Zumas on Craigstlist right now, but it doesn't look like either of them are worth it. One has part missing, and I'm a little wary of the other one's description "Runs decent. Needs a little work" It's a 2002
