Hi all-
Still working on gearbox and CV joint for my Road Warrior Trike Chopper (250cc V-twin), and I'm wondering about doing some coversions. For one, it has the dinky upward-facing tank that some of the Yamahas have, along with the incredibly dumb "chrome egg" air filter pods, which are directly below the tank.
I'm looking to put a fatbob-style tank on this rig, but I will have to either find a "wafer-thin" air filter to put on this "upwards-facing" carb, or find a carb manifold that will relocate the carb to the RH side (where it always SHOULD have been)!
Does anyone know of a part number that allows use of a side-mounted carb on any of these Yamaha-clone 250cc V-Twins?
If so, I'd sure like to find one!
