So, its thursday and I have just gotten off work. Its 2pm and the weather is great. Lower 70's and sunny. I just filled up so I figure what they heck, since this might be one of the only days left of decent weather, might as well take a backroad trip and drain the tank! This is what I love to see. No cars around and nothing but the roads and my bike! The cotton fields of York, SC Cant beat this view. I guess I got 2 choices.... I'm loving this, no cars! I just had to pull over and get a picture of these cows in the pasture. Right about now my tank and starting to hit the red mark. After all of the riding I've done that day it only costs me $4 ;D I love it! Hope you all enjoyed it. I know the scooter isnt much to look at with all the paint missing off the side panels, but it works for me!

Nice pics. We also love riding around the countryside and going through Small Town America. Try a spin through Van Wyck out that way... still some pre-civil war homesteads outside of downtown (if you can call 2 buildings a "downtown")...

Yeah I had my "last ride" about three weeks ago, all the while knowing it was the end of warm weather rides. I rode until my back and butt hurt, then changed scooters and went out again!! I've only been out twice in the last many days, not good tires OR haulin ass is much fun below say 40 degrees. But I watch the weather and check the outside thermometer often, you know just in case there's a scooter moment.

Where is Van Wyck Any day its not raining or snowing is a scooter day . I rode around last night at 38 degrees but @ WOT of course .Today is a cloudless sunny day despite the cold , simply dress up . Maybe we can organize a ride up Caesars Head or Blue Ridge Parkway . Instead of rowdy Harley riders ( most I met however were gents ) people would say " uh oh its a scooter gang " hahaha

I was just up at Caesars Head and Triple Falls 2 weeks ago. Beautiful ride.

I love it! I used to be a NPS Ranger in the northwest mountains of North Carolina, and I had a Honda CB 360. I loved, loved, loved riding in those mountains! Some of the most beautiful views on earth! There is no better stress reliever, as far as I'm concerned, as finding the back roads with little to no traffic, and just taking your time, putting along, and seeing the country. The bad thing for me is, I just got a SYM RV250 and it's now winter time! I will do some short rides when it is pretty, but will mainly have to wait for a few months when Spring gets here. Can't wait!
