Ya, went for a 45 mile ride today.. It was awesome looking at the trees in late Fall.. The winter like air was a bit chilly but tolerable. I was thinking my fan quit working, because when I stopped, it did not come on. But that is common in cool weather. It finally came on, after getting home. The air was so cool that the radiator never registered warm enough for the fan to come on, until getting home.. I was riding 65 mph on the main highway and average speed on the country highway was probably 45 to 50 mph. I just had alot of sharp turns to go through- some posted 20 mph.. Some pretty steep hills also where my scoot would not go over 40 mph.. It was about a 2 hour ride.. And of course, the wind was pretty bad to fight too. And Semi Trucks I hate meeting, because the wind shear effect... I slow up a bit and brace for it.. lol Attachments:

It has been in the 60's here in Denver. Dreaming of a mild winter.

I love riding when its only a jacket and glove coolness outside . No flying bugs to hit me in the face ( another reason to wear a fullface ) . When its cool the A/C on my scooter works great lol . At night when its 40 degrees I left my scooter warm up for a while prior to riding . I am amazed that the exhaust is so cold for a bit . I wait till it feels warm before I take off since a riding a cold engine can damage it

Ya, I give it a good 4 to 5 minutes to warm up. Yes, riding in the winter time, requires using your head. Warm it up good, wear warm clothing, don't ride if ice or snow is on the roads.. Know when to ride is important.
