Getting tired of adjusting the chain all the time as it just stretches. Gonna put the bucks out and get a good one. At just over 7,000 miles I am installing now my third chain as it is all loose and stretched and binding again.....Only reason I am putting the same thing on now is I have one left. But next week off it too goes and on with the new.....

WOW
I tell ya........it worked fine untill I fixed it!!!@#&@$$
ya know guys he may have meant that about us all,
cause at one time or another it apply s to us all.
especially me, ya know, at this point i can trace every problem i have ever had with my bike to me!
mike6736, if one thing in the world has got its act together it is chains, being there is a safety issue,
are you gonna have one custom made?, i understand that is real do-able these days at chain saw places.
PS jim backus was a jewel

It just was not called for Especially from SUPPOSEDLY a new kid on the block. He has to be thought a lesson not to be a smart mouth and hurt peoples feelings.
BUT do not fret I will find out if it is someone already on this forum coming on hiding under a different login name. And I hope it is not one I already suspect. Lefty .

I agree 100 percent lefty, as i now think about it. I also think any one with a trike and mods it and has a nice running machine must know his stuff, cause it does not get any simpler with three wheels. I also think if there was a market for soft metals china would do real well.

Hey Mike: Where are you going to get a better chain than you already have?? As I recall the chain we bought here in Arkansas was for a heavy duty chain saw. Let me know what you come up with and if you end up with an extra long size let me know and I'll split the cost with you. Also I'll check the chicken supply place I believe they have stainless steel. vr, Lee

stainless steel I think is the best, I think that is what we used hill climbing years ago and never had a poroblem with streaching
