I found this and need to know if anyone has used it and the results . Sometimes I get stuck at traffic lights since I do not weigh enough to trip the sensor . Here in SC former Governor Sandford passed a law where mopeds and motorcycles can legally run a redlight after waiting 2 minutes , providing its clear to go Here is url for it www.greenlightstuff.com/trigger.html

I will admit to having tried that - save your money. Best thing you can do is slowly ride directly along the trigger in the pavement. If that doesn't work, I've heard (and seen) bikers bouncing up and down at the light to try to get it to turn.
But the most effective method I have observed, is to go ahead and run the light when it is safe. That always seems to make the light change in my rear view mirror.

Well yes and no. It all depends on the stop light. If it's an old fashion "dumb" stop light, it won't work. Basically this "Green Light Trigger" is just a copy of what the emergency response people use. Think ambulance. Now, not all cities use the same system, so this may or may not work in your area

In my area all the lights are triggered by electromagnetic coils in the road surface, not weight. I've only come across one light I couldnt trip. If I cared enough I could call our highway department and they'd adjust the sensitivity. Attaching magnets to your scooter does NOT trip these better. Simply having enough metal mass to alter the field is what it takes. Many of the lights will actually trip for a bicycle here!

What Ambulance, Police and Fire vehicles use is a completely different system and is triggered by a transmitter of some sort. You can see the recievers on top of most signal lights looking like a small camera. You don't want to get caught in posession of one of those! It is completely illegal to possess. This is a strap-on magnet for the bottom of your scoot.

I have noticed some work fine with others seem stuck on cycle and never going to change . I try to avoid traffic lights that hate two wheels . I wish they used motion detector instead of scales to trigger light changes .
I wonder if scooter riders in other countries have this dilemma too .
