I saw it at Scrappydogs it has do with the cam but I am unsure on the details .Any help would be appreciated

It's in the clutch. It is the big plate that pushes against the belt from the force of the torque sheave spring. There are angled cutouts, similar in function to the variator ramps, that give a specific profile to the clutch engagement. A different angle in the cutouts means it engages differently, either more quickly with more force (keeping the belt lower on the variator longer) or more slowly (allowing the variator to variate more quickly). It works in conjunction with the torque sheave spring.
