So I'm coming back from my mother's house(about 70 miles from home) and I stop at a convienence store to put on my rain suit because it looks like it's gonna pour at any minute. My scooter battery decides not to be cooperative and the scoot won't start. An older gentleman across the street asks "Got trouble?" I said, "yeah, my battery is dead" . So he tells me if I push it over there that he will charge it for me. He let me hang out while he charged my scooter battery. An hour later, I was on my way home in the rain.

Good ending, except getting wet.

The thing is that my rain suit kept me dry. I didn't mind the rain except for the 20 minutes or so that it poured and there wasn't any place to get off the road. The ride there took 1 1/2 hours, the ride home took about 2 1/2 hours because of the stops and the rain.
