I do it all the time. I get a drinking straw and put it down the oil fill and put my finger on the top to hold the oil and pull it out, release my finger and the oil can go back in the bottle or drain pan. It works with other fluids also, such as today I put too much anti-freeze in the resevoir of my Jeep.

Good little trick to take out some oil or whatever that may have been overfilled. Lefty

I use a syringe with a leftover piece of fuel line attached to it, but is not as practical as your method. Thank you for sharing.

Ummm, take the dip stick out, put a pan under the scoot and lean the scooter over to that side... Pours right out. No muss, no fuss.
