I think that you want a bolt that is meant to replace the side drain not the freeze plug style bolt under the oil screen. I have heard of someone supposedly placing a circular rare earth around the oil screen area.

Hi everyone, This is to inform everyone about a problem with the new motor oils. There is a lot of info around about the cutting back of ZDDP in the newer oils.. ZDDP is a extreme lubricant additive. The oil company's are lowering the amount of it because of it's effects on emissions. I have ran air cooed Vw engines for 35 years and they need the extra lubricant. .I have had no problems getting 75,000 miles using newer china made parts for the older german vw engines I have built. Also on my ½ vw aircraft engines at 300 hours on one with hardly no wear, but on my other aircraft engine was worn out at around 500 hours while using other type oils . When I took them apart what I saw was not a lack of oil because both engines had good oil pressure and oil temps were great. It just looks like the oil was not lubricating enough on the one aircraft engine and the car engines I have taken apart I saw the same wear on the bearings but using a Diesel grade oil or a racing oil I saw no wear hardly at all on anything I have built that I have taken apart.. Both type oils have more amounts of " ZDDP" in them. There is also ZDDP additive you can buy. Synthetic oils are not much better . I am by no means an expert or scientist on this but have seen problems in the newer oils just from experience.. Just my .02 cents worth on the oil …

Sprocket are the other two screws in the prima pack mags Too? MEN ALSO--it is good to tilt the bike towards drain side and spray out crap on bottom of pan thru dip with carb cleaner, i get a real thick sludge out of the bottom that normally does not move.

a friend of mine works in a "Oil Center" and talk to me about Liqui Moly Mos2 Oil Additive, according to him this product is extremely high quality, and reduce wear and improves the oil performance. somebody have some exprience with this product?

A wise man said, "A professional mechanic can work their entire career and never see an engine failure that resulted from motor oil selection"
My bias:
Change oil often. Why not? It only takes a few minutes. Every 500 miles or so.
Dino for the first 1000 miles, synthetic thereafter.
My Dad gave me a case of generic 10w30 dino, so I'm using it until I get the first 1k miles. I think it's Mobil. At 300 miles, already changed oil 3 times during break in.
At 1k miles, will switch to whatever synth. Costco has in stock. Right now, it's Mobil1 10w30.

If you get leaks from the case seams with synthetic oil then switch back to dino...

I still don't understand where the 2 extra bolts go. Is the Drain cap itself a magnet?
And what is the "Side Drain" plug?
I can't believe I have never heard of that

Yeah, some engines have a side drain plug on the CVT side of the sump...
Mine is just like a regular oil plug and where the hollow part is a rare earth magnet has been force fitted in... probably very easy to make.. the magnet isn't going anywhere because the filter spring holds it in place... looks to be about the size of a nickel...

"...The MoS2 would reduce transmission wear rather dramatically, and it may help reduce the shearing of oil VII to a more acceptable level. Is it any surprise that some racing oils carry large loads of Moly in their additive package?" if I understood reduces wear but you have to use at concentrations less than 2% in our engines Am I right?
