Good morning folks. Just want to make you aware of another issue to look at during PDI. My Ice Bear Magnum was delivered about 10 months ago. I made an assumption about 9 months ago that the rear brake lights only came on when using the left hand brake (and susequently NOT the right hand brake). After Mike and I compared Magnum trikes I realized both hand brakes should work the brake light. When I took the sensor switch apart on the right hand brake there were no metal contacts in the switch to allow the brake light to work. Who would have ever thought a switch would be put together with no contacts?? I've contacted my dealer and the part is not available so now I have a trike with no right brake sensor switch. I guess I'll fabricate one this winter. Something to check during your PDI. vr,

One more bit of info I think you should all know. The csating on my right brake switch attachment was not perfectly square and there for the switch did not sit flush on it's mount. This is not good and everyone should check their respective switches to ensure they have not slipped off of the setting. (I'll have to assume the castings are pretty much from the same mold... unless I have a "one off".) If the switch does slip off it will most surely break your switch. The fix for this is easy. Unscrew the single phillips head screw holding the switch on loosen the bracket (2 8mm bolts) and rotate the assembly so you have easy access to where the switch mounts. Take a file and file the mount square. Takes about 2 minutes but the fit is incredibly better. Mount the switch, rotate the whole assembly back to its original position and tighten the 2 8mm bolts. DONE!
