I have had many problems with this trike and now down to one. I can not find out what the beeper and red light are tellin g me. I thought when I releases the tilt lock and brake it would stop. The book dont even show it. I have gotten it to time a couple of times.

I have the same problem of the beeping even after you release the centering handle. Another member suggested putting a thick piece of cardboard between the connectors that trigger this in the middle of the front suspension. Look and you will see the metal tabs that are supposed to connect and put the cardboard between the connectors. Now it no longer beeps when I disconnect the centering handle. How fast did you go and does it ride good?

Sarge, I have had this over a month and have not ridden it yet. I have work on it since the day I got it. First the fuel switch was hooked up wrong. After reading what to do with a Chinese scooter did all that. Then when I tried to run it after the performing work the carb was screwed up probably from trying to start with the fuel sw wrong. It would start but, run not at high speed. Had to remove carb and clean. I also had a bad gas cap that wouldnt work . I have the seat removed to get at the carb, vacuum and fuel lines and change the switch. After fixing the beeper hope to get it back together and try it.
I guess you never learn as I am 63 and brought this. I though it would be a fun thing to ride. How stupid of me as I did debate to get it or not. Good luck to you and hope you enjoy your ride. Let me know about your riding experiences.

Ahhh, Ridencuss, don't dismay! All these Chines bikes are a pain in the rear....lots of prep work, but from what I'm reading on the forums, once the work is done, they all seem to enjoy their ride. I'm still PDI'n mine. I got the 250cc SnowLeopard. Road it up the road a piece, partially disassembled, lol. Now I'm trying to figure out how to check, replace, fill the gear oil. I just KNOW I'm gonna have fun on this, eventually..

I ,m still trying to get the brakes bled and have Not ridden it YET either except once with the out of round tire with the centering lever on. (Not very stable with a wobbly rear tire!!) The rear brakes seem to be bled but the lever doesn,t catch until half way so I,m putting it back together and am going to try it before the end of the week? I hope? I hope I like it or somebody will probably buy it at my loose. I,d be happy with 45-50 and a fun little trike to work on. (The last part shouldn,t be a problem?)

Behind the front grill you had to put on there is a switch with 2 prongs on it take a small zip tie and wrap it around that switch so that the 2 prongs are pushed in. or option 2 remove the bolt that holds that switch on and add a couple washers to it so it comes forward more.

In other words do we want the two strips to be forward more so it beeps when the level lever is on but when you release the lever the 2 strips move forward and make contact with the other piece and the beeping (and Governor) goes OFF?

When i say right prong i mean when you are facing the bike.
