I have a verucci 1e40qmb, so it's a 2stroke. Problem is that no one has parts for it, for some odd ass reason the engine components are different than what is offered by everyone for the 1e40qmb. So I want to know if it is possible to put a gy6 150 or even the 139qmb for that matter, onto the verucci???

Good question; I've wondered if I could swap a 139qmb into my xpeed 50r...have been too busy to contemplate it seriously though. reason I'd like to do it is the scoot is the right size and comfortable to ride.

Maybe a GY6-150, I'm not sure if the mounts are the same or not but at least they're close. The GY6-50 is bottom mount so that's an absolute no.

y 2 strokes are so simple most things can be fixed or robbed off of something close enough. hint find what it is a copy of then you magically have a ton of parts available. admittedly i am a 2 stroke lover so the very thought of replacing a 2 stroke with 4 puts me off. so i am a bit biased.
all you have to do is make new engine mounts at worst which is just some time with a welder and angled steel.

A 2-stroke can be tuned to get much more power than a 4 stroke. You just need to be patient in your search for parts. I'm sure they are available online somewhere. 2 strokes are immensely popular in Asia as they don't tend to have the emissions requirements of the US or European countries.

I've been searching for the right parts for this thing for almost 2 months. Could there possibly be more than one 1e40qmb models???

I know of at least 4 but the differences are case length and which of 2 possible crank shaft/rod combinations, and most places that sell 2T parts offer kits for both shafts (often referred to by 10 or 12 mm wrist pin). In general they all have a 71mm stud diagonal (the 50s and the 90s) so finding top ends shouldn't be an issue.
There are some less common water cooled jugs that otherwise are in spec.
Then there's Kymco's take on JOG which would be the same except the exhaust mounts are about 90o off.
What particular is it about yours that makes finding parts so difficult?

The first thing I realized I couldn't find was the reed valve. Mine looks like half of what is sold by scrappy and the bolt pattern if different. And another would be the exhaust. Mine comes straight off the back of the block instead of from underneath like most scoots, the exhaust mounts to the motor right infront of the back tire

Wow, I could see wanting to put in a different engine. I wonder if the guys over at 49ccScoot.com could identify that engine for its anomalies.
