I have this chrome bar that runs around my scooter. I like it, but I had it off for cleaning and I liked that as well. You dont have to like Chinese scooters, but whats your opinion of the chrome bars. WITH WITHOUT

It probably looks better without the chrome but the added protection of the bars might be nice. The chrome bars would stand out more if the scooter was black or a dark color.

I'm with warstein. It might look better without, but it gives you protection and the look separates you from the crowd. You don't see that too often.

I agree, I like it without the bars and luggage rack. However I was riding yesterday and it was nice to have a little wider area to put my feet.
As for protection, these bars are Chinese aluminum. Im sure cars would just bounce right off. It sure does keep me from banging it in the garage. And I have not seen any like this around Colorado Springs.

Did your scoot come with the chrome? ? I have been looking for crash bars like that for a long time now!!!! I would keep it on just because it's something diffrent. This is only the second time I've seen a scoot with chrome like that. Oh, and I love chinese scooters. Thank you. These Dayang scooter have the chrome bumper bars. They are not too strong but I knocked it over in the garage and they worked. Here is a link to the current Dayang Chinescooter. www.dayang-motorcycle.com/en/product/productshow.asp?ProID=269&ProductClassID=2They probably would look good in black. I took them off and now I think I will put them back on. It is only 7 screws, takes less than 3 minutes to go off or on.
