So, perhaps most are aware, but I would like to then restate the obvious. Chironex Motorsports Inc. (Ontario Canada) does not support their scooters, nor do they fulfill their warranties. Avoid them at all costs!
I purchased my Chironex Legend 300 in the spring of 2010. From the very first week there were problems, and ever since then I have been waiting for parts. In the summer of 2010 my scoot sat at the dealership for 2 months of the summer all added up...and it never did get everything fixed before I had to take it back and store it for the winter. I brought it back this spring (2011) and it has been there ever since...totally undrivable and unsafe. The dealership is so fed up with being told the parts are coming from the head office in Ottawa that they now call them every day, and required that they provide a digital picture of the parts and Purolator invoice to prove they are on their way. Still nothing yet though, and apparently the parts being sent are only some of the required parts, so I will continue to wait. My warranty will be expired before I finally get a bike to drive, which I have no doubt will need more repairs once it actually gets some miles put on it.
I have also contacted the company leadership in Ottawa by e-mail, fax, phone (no answer at any point...even from the front desk), and letter. In the last 2 months alone I have sent 4 e-mails to them. Nothing yet has been answered.
In my opinion everyone should stay away from this company and its products. Even the dealership I deal with has dropped their Chironex line as a result of this and similar issues.
