Hi, I'm obviously new. Oh, haha. It feels like I'm at the university again and the teacher is having us 'say something about ourselves' in a circle...
Uhm, I bought a used 500W (49cc) electric scooter a couple months ago from CL. Chinese, Yanglei. I knew NOTHING about scooters then except they were hilariously fun to ride. Since then, I've spent about a dozen hours researching everything from brands to maintenance.
Yanglei, as far as I know, literally has no Google results. The last mechanic I took it to had to insert it as Honda just to list it in their system. I don't mind if I own an obscure Chinese brand as long as I can find generic compatible parts online and someone locally who is willing to work on it--and let me learn too.
I'm a Front End Developer, graduated last May, and now seeking a city scooter to make meetings, for shopping, social activities. My problem, is that I don't have a license; so I'm on this sudden rush to practice driving, pass my test next Friday, then buy a scooter and pass a motorcycle test. This may seem easy, but I'm intimidated! Haha.
Well, ohayou, ola, hello.

Welcome
We don't have a lot of electric scooter riders. It will be nice to hear all about yours.
