How do you change the bulb in the runing lights on a 300R Trike?

If you want to get to the rear lights take the rear seat off and than the section the rider holds on to and you can twist them out. Theyare only 10 watts you can put 27 watters in there and good and bright. Not that hard takes only a few minutes.

I just swapped mine out with LEDS. I pulled the front apart and took the headlight buckets out. Then carefully pull the housing apart. There are 4 OR 5 Snap locks that need to be pryed open with a small screwdriver. Carefully pull the housing apart. If you go slowly you won't even damage the seal that holds the 2 of them together. There are also 3 metal holding clips but the will pop right off. Do one at a time so you know how it goes back together. When you change the buld out make sure it fits snugly in the housing...if it doesn't then bend the housing a little to make it snug otherwise when you hit a fair size bump in the road the bulb will pop out (I speak from experience). Not hard to do but requires a little time and patience. By the way you will also see the headlight adjustment screws. Mark where they are if you decide to loosen the screws to get the running light housing out thru the back...which you can do without pulling the buckets apart. Either way you do it has its challenge.
