I have a 49cc Peace Sports that i have 2 18" LED strips on the bottom and a 6 LED pod in the engine compartment, I got the strips for $20 at AutoZone and the pod was around $2 on clearance. I ran these lights right to the battery and to a switch (of course) and they can be left on when the bike is not running for long periods of time without draining the battery at all. Just make sure you check your local laws on these lights because if a cop that's in the mood to bother someone sees you, they will get you. I got a $130 speeding ticket (34mph when mopeds are supposed to do 25) and I had red lights under it. Red, blue, or strobes are illegal in SC, that was going to be a $120 ticket on top of the speeding but he dropped the light ticket. I changed the lights to green now, haha. But the kit you posted will work as long as it is a 12v system and done correctly, LEDs draw basically nothing from your battery.
