Just bought this lil TAOTAO 3 weeks ago...i know its cheap and made in China but it's a peppy lil ride..already have to replace the atuo-choke though. Attachments:

I just bought a 2011 Tao-tao 49cc , any advice? i heard things break down you probley have had some miles down.. whats the auto choke?

A auto choke is a electrically operated choke that enriches the fuel mixture for starting in cold climates. A manual choke is one usually attached to a cable and is operated in stages to get the engine warm.

I have a friend that has a new Tao Tao and his to is very peppy. There must be something about the restriction on these bikes thats different.

I bought my TaoTao 50 a little over 3 months ago.. after the 1st couple 100 k it seems whatever is gonna break tends to do it around then.. mine now has 3500 k on it now and runs like a champ... VERY peppy too. Shot at 2011-07-29 Shot at 2011-07-29
