Lee, Yes has got some good low end torque and pulls the 16/37 gears good. It cranks up to 40-45 pretty quick I am not holding up the cars behind me from a stop light. There is a hill about a mile from me and it is a steep hill and I will hit it at 50mph at 6000 rpms and it will hold 6000 rpms all the way up and only loose about 4-5mph at the top. I can crank it a little more and it will still pick up mph going up the hill and the nice thing I am still in the 6K range I have not yet got it to 7000 rpms. I will take a video of the hill and going up it. And yes Lee your right leave it alone not worth it. But I don't understand why the smart ass respond though and it doesn't even make sense really! What hot rods have you got I got rid of my 69 R/T Coronet about 8 years ago, my license plate was SWEET69 Of course I keep the plate hanging in the garage Lefty

Hey lefty, can I ask how much top end the gears give ya? I wonder how much different that would be going from a trike to a 13" wheel scoot. Do ya think a regular 150 could push the gears?

Eric, I have not opened it up yet I have only had it up to 60mph at 6800 rpms and had lots of throttle left. I would estimate it will easly do 65mph maybe more. sh!t I am not even in the powerband. Yea just do not go overboard on the gearing I would only go 2up and 2 down if you find you want a little more on the low end you can always get your rpms higher with Lighter weights. The CY6 motors are pretty torquey so I do not see a problem and if you find 2up and 2 down is to much go down one, you will still pull 5 more mph. Lefty

The motor was sometimes popping when doing 50-55 mph I had the #125 main jet in which Jim had put in. He said it was still a little fat and that a #122 or #122.5 would be right on. I have a #120 that was tried and ran good but better on the richer side than to lean. I ordered the #122.5 main jet and it came in yesterday and i put it in last night. Well today I rode the sh!t out of it, and NO MORE POPPING with the #122.5 Main Jet. The sucker gets up to 60mph pretty darn quick at right around 6800-6900 rpms. I marked the Throttle to see how much I had left at 60mph and I have 1/4 throttle so It should do 65mph. Have to try it when there is no traffic maybe tomorrow when everyone is in church . The Variator was making a lot of racket so I took out the Dr. Pulley Sliders they where worn and bounceing around in the slides so I put in new 11g Dr. Pulley Sliders and that quieted it down. I will also try 13g Dr. Pulley Sliders and see which ones I like for cruising around here. Lefty

Hi Troops, Well today I put in different Variator with 12g Dr. Pulley Sliders and this is what I got. Ran it up to 6000rpms and It ran up to 63mph. I have to try 11gram for more RPMS and put in a different Variator that Variator will not let the belt climb all the way up. It is built for more lower gear ratio on the pulley. But here is a short Video. Lefty

Yep I would say that is tuff enough! I have to wonder how that same motor combination I built for you would work in a 2 wheeler. Of course you could racea 2 wheeler. LMAO

Again not here to question you! However, I did clock it with a GPS! As well, I've been clocked with my wife following me in her car. Last, on a few of the roads around my home there are speed traps with those cart things that tell you how fast your going. Seems as everytime I pass one of them the MPH on the speedo is within 2 MPH od what I'm really going. And, for the most part I'm faster not slower. I've seen 68mph on my Chinometer more than once, but my speedo is 5mph off according to my wife in the car beside me Hell, even if it is 8mph off, 60 works for me. Bone stock PST150-11, but I'm weighing in at 150 lbs. too, so..... FWIW, I've only had the blue trike to 65mph on the Chinometer, but it's not broken in yet either. I give the red one hell.

Today was raining all day so I decided to install a Radio on the Trike, now I have Sounds. Has a Remote and It really is LOAD Here I only have it volume #11 it goes way up. The Radio has an SD Slot and a CLOCK. The Clock is feed all the time so I installed a Off and On Toggle Switch to cut full power to the radio. I already have a Clock and Date built in the Tach and that is always being fed juice so I did not want another Clock to be taking juice from the battery. Click on it to Play. Lefty
