Here is my toy -- with changes from stock. An extra 50 watt MR16 light mounted to the bottom center of the windshield. This lets me see the road after dark when there is oncoming traffic. The windshield with this season's collection of bug spatter. It is a piece of Lexan and is thicker and two inches taller than stock. The tractor seat. The covering is a work in progress. The stock seat really messed up my sciatic nerve. It took six months for my leg to recover. The tailgater gun. It was originally a joke but I found people stayed at least an extra car length back. They must think it can shoot something at them. It's an oil bottle cap-spout-valve combination from WalMart. Further safety/comfort/weirdness as I think of them. Attachments:

LOL, that is one bad ass scooter! Love the gun idea! It will definitely be unique when you get the seat covered. Even though it's metal, I'm sure it's one comfy seat.

The seat is very comfortable, I am a farm boy from the 1950s. I spent a lot of time on a seat like this one while growing up. The metal seat is going to be painted, not covered. I haven't decided whether to paint it red or black. I'll use a sheepskin fleece for longer rides.
Eventually I will get another piece of Lexan to make another windshield. It needs to be a couple inches higher and a couple inches wider at the top.

I like the seat (and the rest of your scooter). As one who has spent 8+ hours a day on a tractor seat I 2nd your choice. Funny, the seat on my 1966 450 Honda wasn't quite as good.

I was raised on a cotton farm in South Phoenix. I have a few miles on one of those seats. They are more comfy than they look. My father bought a new JD 4240 with air in the 80's. Nice. We used to fight each other to see who used it. Nice lookin scoot. Have you looked around for an aftermarket windshield?

My dad had an Allis Chalmers WC and an Allis Chalmers WD. My older brother had bonded with the WC and I liked the WD better, so there were no fights between us. Thanks for the compliment about my scooter. It looks better in the picture than it really is. If it is nice enough to be cleaning it up a better use of the time is to ride it. The stock windshield was a flat piece of plastic that is bent into a curve as you mount it. I make my own for this scooter out of Lexan. It a whole lot tougher than the commercial windshields.
