This is what I have (and provide with rentals and give away with scooter purchase). Everyone comments on the look and they all love it! So do I. Greg

I'm in Southern California, what's a season? ;D I have 3 full face helmets. Finding a helmet that fits your head shape well, vents properly and isn't ridiculously loud are my priorities. If you wear a helmet for any length of time and it fits wrong it can get crazy uncomfortable.

I'm in NC and in the spring/summer I wear a half helmet with goggles but during the fall/winter months I go with my full helmet.
But that's just me

Thats a nice looking helm mainepeace. I was acutually looking at a "pilot" style one that had a sunshield that flipped down behind the main shield.

I have a black 3/4 helmet...But i'm having a hard time wearing it all the time. I know I should always wear a helmet but something on my head has always bugged me. I'm working on it. ;-)

I have two helmets, a 3/4 face AGV Blade helmet and a FF Scorpion Exo 400 helmet. Although the AGV is nice it's too noisy and I hate wearing ear plugs. I just bought the Scorpion Exo 400 and I love it. It is super quiet, comfortable, snell/dot rated and I got it super cheap @ $55. The circulation is great.

I've got a full face. Not sure how I'll feel about it when we get to 100* but it's good for now!
rollins, just remember it only takes ONCE to end up in a bad spot. No matter how far you're going, there is a chance (however small) you might not make it. Then again.. there's a good chance nothing will go wrong too.

That is a nice looking helmet Mainpeace, what brand/model is it? would like to see if they're available here local. They are GLX model 104. You can find them on Ebay for about $50-$55 shipped to your door. I buy direct from GLX. You can get tinted visors from them, but only from GLX from what I can see. I *just* became a dealer for them so I'm going to get a tinted visor for myself. I'm all for wearing helmet everytime I ride probably helps we have helmet laws lol i wanna keep my noggin where it is firmy attached to my body. I wear a helmet even when I'm just going 200 yards away to the bank or the gas station (150 feet away). Makes sense as you NEVER know when something will happen. Greg

I have an AFX full face that I like. I also bought a MMG 3/4 with a face shield, thinking it would be easier to get on and off. It's awful. With the shield up, there's insane amounts of whistling wind noise. With the shield down, the air comes around it and up into my nose, making it feel like my nose is running. It was cheap, though, so I have an extra for a passenger if I want. Sadly, the AFX doesn't fit under the seat or in the top box.

This is my helmet its just an average helmet from walmart, DOT approved with clear flip down visor. With the visor all the way up it whistles. When it gets hot i just crack it open to get some air flow. It has a vents but they are pretty much useless. It has saved my noggin a few times. Attachments:

shino - yeah thats kinda crappy buddy. I didn't like the silver one so I opted for the blue and they told me the same thing, that it was full price. I told them to check their own website, which was on sale, so I got it for the cheap. Mine will be in next week. Also ordered the gloves that matched the jacket.

Bugs have secret weapons, too. Especially bees. They can slingshot around a windscreen better than NASA around the moon.

the worst thing is if you got stung buy a bee @ 50mph in the neck....
and to add...i never use a fullface helmet, it's too enclosed, and toooo heavy,it put significant pressure on the rider's upper spinal column, might cause parkinson's disease and other nerve related conditions in the future....nope, i would never wear a full face helmet.
