After researching decided to order a Linhai Aeolus 260 from Valley Scooters.Thought I woulb be getting a better quality chinese scooter.Alot of good reviews for both dealer and scooter.Scooter arrived about 8 days after placing order. No windshield arrived with scooter, box was ripped in various places, caged bent.Checked for damage to scoot and found none. After inspecting scoot I soon found the poor quality control on the body panels and wiring harness to the temp sender on the radiator. They put a rectanguler female plug to connect to a round male plug on rad. Called John at Valley and spoke to him about the missing windshield.Jonh said windshield will be ordered and sent out.Week later,no windshield.Called Linhai Sunright myself and found out windshield was never ordered. They sent out a windshield but the wrong one so 2 1/2 weeks later still not riding the linhai.Pictures will follow of poor quality.Wish I would have ordered a Bms or Znen. The 150 Znen I got from superior was a better quality machine.

Yes most of this story is true. Scooter was purchased through us- check. Scooter was delivered missing windshjield- check. I personally called Ronald 5 minutres after hearing about missing windshield and was told it would be sent out, Never heard from customer until this morning when he called and told me he had gotten the wrong windshield. Told him I would contact Ronald on Monday to strighten out problem. Customer blames me for windshield being missing when he got scooter. Told him that was something totally beyond my control as I do not work at Sunright. Customer also blames me for his getting wrong windshield again told him it is not something I had control over but would take care of Monday. Customer threatened to post on forums, I told him he should since people should know about poor QC at Sunright. Again, not under my control. Having said that, I find it unusual to get a poorly built Linhai 260 or 300 scooter. Have sold them for years and I know a lot of forum members have them and have been very happy with them. Chime in here especially if you have had issues with the Linhai product.
Moral of story- Stick to our Motorino scooters. We stock all the parts for them and I don't think I ever sent out the wrong part to a customer for the ones we import and have control over.

I just have to say, regardless of "how things are done" with Chinese scooter companies... the dealer is the representation to the customer of the scooter manufacturer. Regardless of how difficult it is to get in touch with the parts department, I feel it is the dealer's responsibility to make a quick resolution, however it is done. Even if it comes to pulling off a windshield off a new scooter or buying one retail from someone else and sending it out then working on replacing the windshield later.
That's just my opinion and that's what I would do. A company HAS to be responsible for what it sells.

linhai aeolus is the only chinese scooter i really like.. it's low and fat.,,i like the style....on the other hand, the vog 260 is one of the chino scoots i hate most...the style is very common, nothing special...i like scooters that stands out among the rest...an eye catcher.
