I have been poking around in the forums for a while, and have read my references to "Scoot Dawg approved dealers". My question is, is there an actual list of approved dealers on this site somewhere? I have searched and haven't found one anywhere... If there is one, can someone please point me at it?
Thanks in advance!!

Just look at the popup ads top of the page. Most of us have an ad. They will not post somebody there that they do not think is a good dealer.

I wouldn't put any trust in those pop up ads. John is talking about the rotating scooter ads just above this main area, not the ones at the top. ScootDawg mods put these banner ads on this site, not proboards. The ads above these are proboards ads. The scootdawg banner dealers have to approved by the mods here, if they don't live up to being a "Dawg Approved" dealer they are removed. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair Rapid Repair

New windshield is on the way to you. We contacted Sunright, only took 2 days to get response from them, and part is on the way, tracking number sent.

AF1 racing in New Braunfels, TX is a good dealership for Italian scooters. They are honest and do good work. They also have a huge inventory of parts and can get anything in 3 days if they don't have it in stock. Everyone who has Vespa, Piaggio, Aprilia already knows about them though, I think.

Well since you have your windshield now I do not think it appropriate to do a chargeback with your cc company. We have done everything we could to make this transaction as smooth as possible. You have gotten the first windshield which you say did not line up correctly and now you have a second one which you also claim does not line up correctly. Maybe it is not perfect but with Chinese scooters things are not always manufactured to the same standards as they would be in Japan but then again you also pay about half the price. I think it is totally uncalled for to try and get your scooter for free because holes in the windshield are not perrfectly lined up. We work very hard to run our business in a fair manner and make sure we do all we can to satisfy our customers. We have done everything you have asked us to do and still you now want to get a scooter for free and cause us to lose over $2000.
I am starting to doubt that the scooter arrived without a windshield and that the first one Sunright sent to you did not fit. It is sounding more and more to me that the intention all along was to defraud our business and attempt to steal a scooter. Nobody does a chargeback because holes do not align perfectly. I encourage all dealers to beware of a customer named Roy Mason and not to sell him any product as he may very well try to do this again. It is sad that as a small family run business we have to waste hours of our time dealing with the cc company to get our $ back.

As a total noob who does not yet have a scooter, I've been reading this forum as well as other online sources in an effort to educate myself on what to expect from the chinese scooters. I wish I could afford a Honda or Piaggio but....I cannot. This forum has opened my eyes to the PDI and maintenance that will be required. Sounds like this poster(complainer) was expecting a Vespa not a chinese scooter. He should have gone to a local high-end scooter dealer so he could return each week for another repair/adjustment. Just my take on this.

I have no desire to cheat anybody out of thier money. Will get in touch with CC company today.Funny how it took a CC dispute to get your ass in gear.Maybe if you had more interest in the $hit that your selling this would not have happened Beware of Valley Scooters, future scooter buyers!

I like to buy local, and just found a dealer who has an E-Ton Beamer that I want to check out but if that doesnt pan out, I will most likely buy from Valley. I like that they come on here and post and seem connected. The other places I considered a week ago dont do this. Sorta makes you wonder. . .

Just FYI. We arranged for 2nd windshield to be sent on Tuesday when we finally got in touch with Linhai. CC chargeback came on Friday, long after we had taken care of the problem and a tracking number had been given to assure you that it was on the way. There is never a need to do a chargeback when dealing with us. We make things right because we have a reputation to uphold and it has been a darn good one for the last 8 years. Also, Gigi said she was sending a shipping label along with the 2nd windshield, guess she forgot.

Dispute was filed last Sat.Guess it took CC comp.6 days to process chargeback.Took 20 days after scooter delivery to get a windshield I can use.I find this unacceptable.I know chinese quality is lacking and I knew this going in.But I find it very dissapointing that a scooter was shipped in this condition.I am not out to defraud anyone but I am not going to be taken advantage of

Just my 2 cents. I have dealt with John ( Valley Scooters) personally and have found him to be an upstanding, upfront, and personal businessman. I have gotten help from him when I needed some info on a machine that he sells. I have not seen complaints on him on this board or others, just the opposite. After reading this post, I am inclined to think the author of this post was expecting a "Cadillac" for the price of a "Yugo". Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

From a dealer standpoint, I can see the issue with customers who believe they have been "taken" in one way or another. It's all about perception.
I had a guy who wanted to return a scooter he *just* purchased (didn't even pickup from the shop yet) because his son was being deployed and would have no use for it. We don't do returns since every scooter is custom ordered. He was thinking about calling in a CC dispute. We found a compromise... I took the scooter in and sold it on his behalf on consignment. He dropped off the scooter this morning, and this afternoon a girl walked in with cash in hand and wanted that exact scooter! Both of us came out ahead, as he didn't have to resort to selling on eBay or CraigsList for a scooter he would never ride, we both wouldn't have to deal with a credit card dispute (which ties up my money for months, even with a successful resolution), and I made a bit of profit off both transactions, and the girl got the exact scooter she wanted with NO waiting! It was already PDI'd!
Win-win-win!

It is my opinion that each and every dealership that has a rotating banner on this forum does its best to do the right thing for its customer.
Unfortunately sometimes a customer is not happy. All businesses have customers that are not happy for one reason or another. We had a person come on this forum once that was raking a dealer over the coals. He was upset because his speedometer was not accurate to less than 1 mph at all speeds he filed complaints with the BBB and went all over the internet complaining. Chinese scooters notoriously have inaccurate speedometer, no dealer can do anything about that.

We had a special that was limited to the inventory we had on hand. A customer came in weeks after the ad ran wanting one at that price and was mad that we had sold all of those even though we had said in the ad the supply was limited. I love this business and thank god there is only a few of the customers out there that think the world should be centered around them. What goes around will come around, they say.

I will say that honestly, I think I am the only customer that matters, but I'm in a position at my job where I have 2200 customers and their parents and I have to make each feel like they are the only one...So, honestly, I don't do well, when I feel customer service is lacking....
Now, honestly, CFM and myself had a few disagreements, and most of the time, i will say that it was my fault and I fessed up and admitted that...Still don't think one thing was mine though...
Loved my CFMoto V5...but life made it where I wasn't getting to ride much and an offer came along too good to pass up so I sold it...Now, as luck or karma would have it, life changes, and I wish I had the bike back...
Might look to get another one, though honestly, I don't know if CFM would want me as a customer...lol

ve, The best you can do, is the best you can do. Be honest and use your head, then your mouth. You sound like a good person but are a little quick to jump. Instead of raising your voice, raise the question "What can you do for me so that I can do for my customers". After all the customers pay the bills, and feed your family. As a customer, your vendor is in the same place you are. You Pay their bills and feed their family. Once you both are of the same mind you can work together and get the business done. If not then find a vendor that thinks like you and in the business because they want to be there and not because they have to be there.

Yes we would like you again as a customer. In the 30 months we have been in business we have been very blessed to have served over 1,000 customers. We have, I hope, never let anyone down. I have done my best to look at every situation as if I was in my customers shoes. I have even taken scooters back and put customers in brand new units. I feel good that customers bring friends in to but scooters from us. It looks like we will add over 450 new customers this year, our 3rd year in business. CFMOTO is a great product and company to be a partner with. No, they are not perfect, but I hope you feel in the end we did everything we could to resolve any manufacturers issues.
We respect and treat every one of our customer with the same regard and respect.
