Don't see a warranty on the site. And remember that most approved Scoot Dawg dealers offer a specail Scoot Dawg discount that will beat any price you find on line, will offer a real warranty which they stand behind and canbe verified by members on the forum and actually stock parts for the scooters they sell. Why take a chance on an unknown just because they advertise a price that is $10 less than a Scoot Dawg dealer?

Their prices are "OK", I'm not excited about the fact that they show no physical address in their Contact or About Us areas. They have references to a bunch of distribution sites. Probably a drop shipper that is doing its best to look like a big dealer.
Go with local dealers or a known good internet store.
John, what is the amount on that ScootDawg discount with you.

Pretty pathetic www.scooterhighway.com/bms-l-roar-2501.htmlin the product description at the top they show 244cc which is correct according to the pictures of the motor. In the bottom when they are they say it is a 257cc....

STAY AWAY FROM THEM! The site looks like my 5 year old nephew made it. There is NO physical address and no local phone number (877 phone numbers can easily be created with prepaid services).
The BBB Icon is incorrect, and does not tell WHICH BBB it is registered with, and it does not have a click-thru link either, which is standard.
If they DO NOT give a PHYSICAL ADDRESS or a LEGAL BUSINESS NAME then DO NOT do business with them! EVER!

Scoot Dawg discount varies based on which model you want( since I have different margins to work with ) and how far you are from our warehouse (therefore our price to ship it). The closer you are to us the better but typically I try to do about $100 off if I can. Also we have about the best warranty you can find out there and we actually stock ALL the parts for every bike we import, even the plastics in all our colors. Makes a difference if you even need something. Also we do not require you to send the old part back first or to pay for shipping you a replacement part. We also honor the warranty. I have sent out complete engines before free of charge, whatever it takes to fix the problem. It is the only way to keep a good reputation.

Um, a thread for someone asking advice about a specific seller is not an open door for any reseller to try their sales pitch. I'm just saying...
